Bar Convent Berlin (BCB), the world’s leading bar and beverage trade show, has announced a brand-new Education Board ahead of its debut UK event, BCB London, taking place from 30th June to 1st July 2025.

The dedicated group of industry experts will be working together to curate an engaging Education Programme for BCB London, creating an inclusive and enriching schedule of high-calibre speakers, interactive workshops and insightful sessions using their extensive network of industry contacts and their knowledge of the latest trends from around the globe.
BCB London Brand Ambassador, Jack Sotti, and BCB Director of Education, Angus Winchester, will be joined on the Education Board by cocktail and spirits expert Hannah Lanfear, as well as renowned drinks writers, Sandrae Lawrence and Gary Sharpen of The Cocktail Lovers.

Visitors can expect a diverse line-up of sessions covering a range of topics and trends that will shine a light on the latest in drinks innovation.

Taking place at Tobacco Dock, Wapping, BCB London is the place for likeminded drinks professionals from both the on- and off-trade to come together to discover new products, network with the international bar community, and learn from experts in the industry.
Hannah Lanfear, member of BCB London’s Education Board says, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with the rest of the team in assembling a dynamic offering of thought-provoking industry seminars for London’s maiden BCB. Since 2007, BCB has been one of the world’s major confluences for talent and expertise in the bar trade, so it’s fantastic to see London open its arms to this behemoth of a show!”

Showcasing the very best that the drinks industry has to offer, BCB London is welcoming some of the most innovative brands to the show this year and will introduce a new feature: ‘Young Guns’, where new brands and start-ups can present their products to the influential bar community.

Speaking about launch of the brand-new Education Board, Petra Lassahn, BCB Director, says, “London, and the UK now increasingly, is the pinnacle of the global bartending scene and yet, it’s been a few years since we’ve had a show that really reflected that status.

At BCB London, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of trends within the sector, and our Education Programme will certainly deliver on this.”
