Bigger and Bolder Than Ever Before, a Reimagined BookCon Returns to the Javits Center in New York City on April 18 & 19, 2026

Norwalk, CT, June 18, 2025 – ReedPop, the world’s leading producer of pop culture events, today announced the return of BookCon, the fan event where storytelling and pop culture collide. A two-day celebration of storytelling in all forms built for readers, by readers, BookCon will take place at the Javits Center in New York City on April 18 & 19, 2026.

A wholly reimagined event, BookCon brings together fans’ favorite publishers, authors, brands, and retailers for an immersive show floor experience, designed with fans in mind. From intimate author chats to lively book swaps that feel like treasure hunts, ReedPop is building a celebration where every page turn will lead to another great adventure. Book signings, book clubs, workshops, captivating panels, and crafting zones are just the start of bringing our online world into a real-world space.

“BookCon has always been an incredibly special event to our team and when we made the difficult decision to cancel the show in 2020, we did so with the hope that we would bring the event back even bigger and better when the time felt right. We are so excited to welcome our BookCon community home next April for an event that has been fully reimagined to include everything fans loved about BookCon, plus so much more,” said Jenny Martin, Event Director, ReedPop. “At BookCon, we believe stories are sacred, books are identity, and community is everything. We invite all of you to join us as we create a space where passion is celebrated and all of you are our main characters.”

Ticket on-sale dates, special guest announcements, exhibitor info, and details on unique experiences will be unveiled in the months to come. Mark your calendars, charge your e-readers, and clear space on your bookshelves—because BookCon is back!
